Holy Cross in Ghana officially becomes a Province

The mission in Ghana, long a district under the Midwest Province, was elevated to the Province of West Africa.

Following the decree of the 2022 General Chapter, the Congregation of Holy Cross's mission in Ghana was declared a Province. The Province of West Africa, based in Cape Coast, came into being and was officially inaugurated, marking the region's coming of age and its ability to carry on the good work begun by Holy Cross missionaries.
